The Porsche 918 Spyder is a German sports car that was first presented to the public in 2010 at the Geneva Motor Show. Its serial production continued in 2013-2015, resulting in the production of 918 cars of this model. Production is centered in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, Germany. The 918 Spyder model was developed and put into production to replace the Carrera GT model in the Porsche range and was designed by Michael Mauer. Compared to its predecessor, the 918 model differs in many respects. The styling of the vehicle has changed slightly, while the interior design has undergone significant changes. Some of the car's systems and components were also improved. The fundamental difference, however, lies in the drive, because the Porsche 918 Spyder has a hybrid drive consisting of a gasoline engine and an electric motor with a total output of 889 hp, compared to "only" 612 hp in the Carrera GT engine. The top speed of the 918 model reaches 320 km/h and the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is amazing in 2.8 seconds! It is worth noting that in 2011 the 918 RSR model was presented, i.e. a prototype racing car model, also with a hybrid drive. The price of the Porsche 918 Spyder is estimated at around 930 thousand. - 1 million euros.
